I Am Number Four…

Review & Synopsis:

I will be honest, I was unsure of this movie going in. I was half tempted to wait for the DVD release, reason being I just got this strange feeling that it would be one of “those” movies. You know the ones where all the good stuff is in the trailer and the rest of the movie sucks. I was pleasantly surprised that this was not the case.

Daniel appears to be your average teenage boy, interested in girls, likes to surf, seems like a pretty good kid. Daniel is anything but average, we quickly learn that he and his guardian Henri are actually on the run. They run from town to town changing identities, erasing any information on themselves as they go. They land in Paradise, OH where Daniel becomes John Smith, we learn that he and eight others like him are special. The first three have been killed, he is number four.

All in all it wasn’t a bad movie, but I am not sure it has the stamina to be a franchise film. The logic is a bit iffy in parts and some of it is quite predictable, but it is a fun family movie. If you want to go see a fun sci-fi movie that doesn’t involve any thinking then this is the movie to see. I would give it 2.5 to 3 stars out of 5.

I see it right after the post where the facebook comments are. It is actually right above the ‘Leave a Reply’ comment box that you had to type in to ask where it is.

I will have someone else check the site to see if it shows up for them.
